PS3 controller for computer use malfunction !?
Okay , so I have PS3 USB controllers that I bought to play games on my computer. I dont have enough USB ports on my laptop so i pugged in a USB HUB. I realized i didnt have a power source for my HUB so i picked up some random wire that fit. I plugged in my controllers to the HUB and plugged in the power source for the HUB. The lights on my controller started blinking and i got worried so I unplugged everything. My controllers still light up but they dont work at all and the computer doesnt recognize it. PLEASE HELP ! By the way, they were pelican afterglow controllers for the PS3.
Powered USB Hub, turn over the USB hub, and look at the bottom and see what the voltage requirement is, and find a power supply to match. Your Powered USB Hub should work fine now, if not scrap it and go to your closest electronic store and pick up a new Powered USB Hub, they are not that expensive.
