Aloha ---- ---- Hmmm, well that can be a bit confusing because several companies were in a state of fluxuation throughtout the 1900's and what was BIG in 1900 might be exstinct thirty years later. Or their name changed along the way, etc...... Most of the names still in use today can trace their origins back to 1900 and an off the top of my head list would be // 1) AMFAC or as it was known in 1918 American Factors, 2) Dole Pineapple Company, 3) Maui Land & Pineapple, 4) Hawai'i'an Dredging, and 5) Matson Cargo Shipping ---
